Fireworks Powder does not require initiation by a detonator. This characteristic, in connection with relatively high handling security and the hot and particle-rich flame, makes it particularly suitable as raw material for pyrotechnics. The best known applications are fireworks, for which gun powder is used is as a propelling and ejection charge, ignition set or as component of the pyrotechnic set. Schuetzen Powder offers a multiplicity of firework gun powders for pyrotechnical purposes.
We are talking of gun powder, which is supplied in different mixing ratios, in numerous granulations or in powder form for different pyrotechnical fields of application.
Another speciality is the production of fuse powders for precise burning speeds for special fuse cords. They fulfill the high requirements of the technical terms of delivery of the Federal Office for Military Technology and Procurement (BWB) as well as various national and international standards. WANO produces on this basis safety ignition cords, firework fuse cords and ignition cords depending upon the intended purpose.
