The new 'formulated' Schuetzen FFg is 8-10% faster per the old batching process. So, what possibly could Wano have done to increase the powders velocity?

Let's see:
Sulphur - Nope, don't believe source or percentage was changed
Potassium Nitrate - Nope, don't believe the percentage or source was changed
That leaves Charcoal! Since charcoal is the 'spark plug' for oxidation of original gunpowder, I'm speculating that Wano did not change the Slovenian source for the Alder Blackthorn but either the subcontracted charcoal or in the plant ... the charcoal has been ground to a finer granulation.

In addition, there is a strong possibility that the fixed carbon content of the charcoal has been reduced (75-80% down to 65% which is what Swiss powder is)

There is also the possibility that when the purchased charcoal is now being held in the retorts at 320 C to maintain the maximum amount of creosote and when cooled, is then being ground into a finer granulation

Mill Wheel Time - If the new Schuetzen is more dense than the old formulation, then I offer that there are more wheel turns during the mixing process. If this is true, then the FINER grains of charcoal will produce a better meal.

I believe the subsequent processing steps have not changed before it is put in the cans

Mr Kirkland, is this correct or have other processing changes been made?
